Our maltose is derived from the hydrolysis of cassava and rice starch, which is also obtained by dextrinization, a process that consists in heating the starch to give it more digestibility and solubility.
Maltose syrup is present in many industrial dishes such as: confectionery, cookies, pastries, cereal bars, breadcrumbs, chocolate powder, infant milks, fried foods, ketchup, and others.
